To care for their issue, Liteblue provides an online statement for the employee in which they can look at their payment statements and get a clear idea of their salaries monthly. Under this service, the employee gets access to a detailed job description and the various benefits that are available to them. 

How to download USPS ePayroll payslips?

The system can also be accessed through smartphones that make the process even more convenient. If an employee wishes to see their payment statement, they can visit the Liteblue website and go to the ePayroll tab. Here, they will be provided with detailed information about their payments. If the employee wishes to download the payslip, there are a few steps that they are required to follow:

  • Login to the portal using the Employee ID and enter the password that you had registered yourself with. Once you are inside your account, go to the self-service option. 
  • Enter the payments tab and check for the payment statement of the month that you wish to see. Select the month along with the year and check carefully before entering the information. 
  • Once done, you would be able to see an option on the side named ‘Download payslip’. Click on the option and your payslip would be downloaded to your device.  

The process of getting a detailed insight into payment slip is easy and is not at all time-consuming. You can even print the payslip if need be. If you have any issues with your statement, you can contact the Human Resources department and ask them to look into the matter.

How to Register to Liteblue?

Liteblue makes sure to provide no inconvenience to its employees and tries to keep every process simple. Being a registered employee on Liteblue makes several benefits available to you. The registration process for Liteblue is quite simple and takes no time to get completed. To register yourself to Liteblue, you need to be an employee of USPS, only then will you be allowed to enter its Liteblue web portal. Only an employee gets access to a unique ID and password for the registration process.

If you are already an employee there, you will need an employee’s ID and a password of USPS self-service. The employee ID will be provided to you on your earnings statement. On top of the statement would be your ID of 8 digits. Each employee is provided with a unique ID to avoid any confusion or malpractice. You can use this ID to login to Liteblue every time once you have completed the registration process. You will also need a password from USPS to complete the process.

However, if you are new to Liteblue, you will have to create a password for your new account. To do so, follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Visit the homepage on the official website liteblue.usps.gov. Look for the option saying ‘Forgot password’ or ‘New password’. Click on the option to proceed.
  • Now enter your 8-digit employee’s ID that would be mentioned on your earning’s statement. Make sure to enter the ID carefully so that you are accepted without any issues. 
  • Once done, you will be directed to a new portal where you can enter your new password. You will be required to re-enter the password and confirm it. When the process gets completed, you will be able to log in to Liteblue with your ID and new password whenever need be.

What is the Self-Service Profile (SSP)?

The SSP is the application through which the employees of USPS manage their credentials which give access to all their self-service web applications. It is described to be a convenient, confidential, and secure method to manage USPS web applications. LiteBlue is one such application. To access the self-service applications, an employee requires his password. The EIN or PIN can be used to login to USPS services. However, the USPS pin is required only for the phone lines. The SSP is secure as nobody can see your information on SSP. The credentials which you use for the same are encrypted when you make use of them. It can be accessed by any of the employees to manage their profiles.

To login to the page, you can access it from the “blue page” and enter SSP on the search bar. When you manage your profile, you will have to option of being able to change your credentials according to your needs. This is the only way through which you can change your password. In case you forget your password, you do not need to worry! When you open the SSP page, you will have the option that states “forgot password” next to the blanks for your credentials. When you choose the link, it will give you the directions for resetting your password. The email which you use for SSP will be used to notify you about any changes that you may enforce to your profile. This includes password changes or confirmation emails. In case you do not possess an email ID, any communication concerning your SSP profile while be sent through a letter to the address provided by you on record.

What is USPS FEHB (Federal Employees Health Benefits)?

The FEHB is one of the world’s largest group insurance programs which is sponsored by the employers themselves. It covers about 9 million people in and around the US. The plans not just include employees but also ex-employees, the families, and the dependents like former spouses. The conditions to enroll with USPS FEHB are as follows:

  • You must be a permanent federal employee with a scheduled duty
  • If you are a temporary employee, your appointment must be for over a year.
  • If you are a temporary employee with a period of one year, you must have completed the given period of service.
  • However, you are an intermittent employee, you will not be eligible to avail USPS FEHB or if you have been barred from your position by law. 

After this, you must determine if you wish to be a part of the program. On confirming your eligibility, you will be contacted by the human resources to confirm if you wish to be a part of the program. However, you must remember that if you decline the offer, you would have to wait until the next open reason to take up the offer. Availing the offer will give you access to benefits like premiums, the contribution from the Government, plan options to choose from, and more!

You can choose the plan which suits your needs the best and request the brochures for the same to be given to you.
